Great idea. I will swap mine today as well. Mowing the lawn is done for me.
I have a curiosity question for you, why the extra blankets on the car cover?

he just likes it to be nice and warm, tucking it every night is routine, just me gussing

Just keeps any dirt off the cover, and they're just old spare blankets anyway, and the garage door is open fairly frequently.
And tucking it in at night doesn't hurt either.

I will get BULLITT out of Winter Storage the Week of April 13th.
Picked up Oil and Filter and the new Front Seatbelts arrived last week.
Car was buîlt May 23rd, 2001 so it was time to replace as they would Not always retract automaticlly.

On the road again
Getting ready for the start of season- if mother nature ever gets back on her meds !
Tried to do some interior cleaning done today, got the dash and carpets cleaned up. Installed a new shifter boot. I tried a repair on some wear area's on the drivers seat - turned out Ok in my books . Got the exterior trim coated to turn it from grey to black again. I need a couple of short runs to let the new 3:73 gear set break in before any long trips. Tires were fresh last fall so should be a decent year if I can afford the gas. Still have the air cleaner element to clean, might be a new battery in the near future, its been about 6 years and that's a record on this car.

Sounds like you had a productive Day Gerry. It won’t be long now.
Decided to change the oil in the 2019 as well as charge the battery this weekend. Fire it up for the first time. Won’t be long now.

Gerry got it finished tonight and on a short drive home I’m quite pleased with how it feels and shifts. More news to come

On the road again
There is a lot of work, parts to remove to make room to drop the transmission 4” so one bolt can come out holding the shifter to the transmission. The shifter mod is simple if all the parts are machined correctly. I found the quick jacks can also be used as a second and third helper when reinstalling that one piece exhaust system !
