Just stock stuff -just wish the chain adjuster seals hadn’t failed again, have to wait until Friday for parts.

Krown undercoating today, one piece driveshaft on tomorrow. Final stuff this year after hitting the pothole before the New Hampshire run in the spring. Took the new Ford Racing struts off and replaced the mount bearing assemblies along with a stabilzer bar (that came apart with little effort). Front end is like new again. Looking forward to the new driveshaft after Gerrys thumbs up when he replaced his.

Put the one piece Ford Racing driveshaft on today, huge difference in weight and one less turning joint. Drive train feels way more solid and car definitely seems peppier. You are bang on about wishing I had done it sooner. Bonus is the weather keeps hitting 20 degrees so top down too….

Finally got the engine back together, Melling high volume oil pump upgrade, replaced failing passenger side cam, new roller followers on both sides, resealed the chain adjusters with a Fel-pro kit which was an unexpected issue as they were only 1.5 years since install. A oil and filter change and it’s running again. Had an issue with the replacement lash adjusters which caused some grief but got that sorted out over the last day or so. Hoping for a dry day this week for a trial run before the dress up covers go back on. Maybe a few more km before the parking happens.

Heading out of town for two weeks, so another one given a wash, and blow dry, and tucked under a cover, likely until the Spring. Was a good year, over 9,000 kms, no problems or issues, no trips back to the dealer, just keep the “jet fuel” topped off. Looking forward to next Spring.

Took advantage of a nice warm day today, four cars got washed, incl. two mustangs, and quick last drive to get fuel filled, fuel additive now in. Just waiting for attic insulation to be done and the mustangs can be tucked away for the winter.
