Thought of the day.

Not sure about best dates for area, But Ideally picking a date that does not conflict
with our official schedule would be nice.
I am hoping that the US run still takes place the weekend of June 7th. If it goes ahead, it would be”trump” anything else planned for that weekend. The weekend after is the Amherst Taylor Ford run which is always a good time. Avoiding the summer rush is good, but there are a limited number of weekends available.

Yeah, few weekends in such a short time. Not sure I could do June, July or even Aug. Lots going on This year, planning a 3 week cross Canada trip July -Aug too. Maybe Late Sept possibly ??

Yes My summer is full, might have a bit of time in August.
Never mind there are 5 car shows somewhere every weeekend of summer,
Some folks here go to those each and ever year.

I get comments from new Mustang folks we should do more events
Most people have no idea what it takes to do one event.

Weekly local runs, Mustang clubs or facebook groups do are much easier
Meet here and go somewhere for 1-2 hours stop for coffee,
Even those require a bit of work.

Last but not least, most of have wives, who enjoy our car stuff or in somecases
tolerate it lol, but allowing for some time to do things wife wants to do
is wise and prudent :) Folks with families need a family vacation or camping
weekends.

All in all onoy so much summer.
we will support any group or person who wishes to plan something.
Again, not the same weekends we have booked for our events.

For Years Mustang was the affordable Muscle car, not anymore
Only saving grace for many, is there are so many on the road, you can
find a sensiblely priced used one for decent bucks.
100% agree on that, same could be said for a gently used two year old Raptor.

Here's some sticker shock for you...found the window sticker for the '06 GT convertible I ordered back in late 2005.

I know it's been 20 years, and the 2025 is an entirely different car, but wow, I was out the door, all in, for $43k.
