Thought of the day.

Just came back from a quick trip down to Moncton and St-John. Met people down there that were complaining on how spring has been cold and late to come......really !! LOL !! There isn't a drop of snow down there...............:rolleyes:
So came home and did a bit of work around the house today as first day we could at least stay out for awhile (6-7 degrees). Well starting to see a bit of the top of the fence (8 feet) and that looks like it is wrecked, can see a bit of the pool and that looks like it caved in on one side so washed the truck and looked at winter tires..... looks like they will stay on for a few more months ?? LOL
I'll catch up to you guys in July or something...............:(
 
Not fun Roger, you should consider moving our of the Arctic
and into Civilization LOL
Beautiful country, is this normal or considered a bad winter?
 
Just a bad winter, not horrible weather just lots and lots of snow......up for work now and guess what ?? it's snowing out there again....lol But I see temps in the teens for next week, nice !! Hard to believe but Bathurst area got it worse than we did, ouch....
 
Almost hard to believe there can be such a difference with such a short distance between bare ground and winter conditions. We didn't have much snow here except what the western part of PEI got. It's gotta get better soon.
 
I remember when I was posted up in Caraquet in the early to mid 80s, wife and I would visit Moncton in early April and people were wearing shorts here. My how times have changed. It is snowing and zero Celsius here today. But at least I don't have 8 feet of snow in my yard, only the odd patch.

That was me, looking good, I like Mustang pics early in the year.
Soon we will all be out cruising around :)
 
Light dusting here...looked more like a heavy frost than anything. 3 days of sun in the teens next week, so looking like a jump right from January to May... Car out of storage in 10 days. Been a long 6 months!
 
Main roads look ok here but the subdivision contractor was using up the pile of salt last night - subdivisions roads are WHITE. The rain had cleared the roads nicely now this mess again. More
salt on the road than most of the winter !
 
that sucks, I seen 2 small parking lots with same today,
I expect salt left in hopper and wanted to get rid of.
Roads are fine, but one needs to be wary of some lots.
