Yes I pre-salted everything, not to bad in metro.
Most areas have been salted, edges are slippery.
Some lots have not been done, so a little caution required.
I think north of us will be getting worse.
Roger might be getting nailed again in skidoo world.
 
7 o'clock and not a drop...fingers crossed !! but it feels like crap is in the air. Hope it comes down as snow and not rain........

Winter started with a bang and it's been great for winter sports but lately it's been warm and we have had some rain so trails and slops are paying a bit of a price.
 
Big rain and wind last night, more rain today and temps hitting +7
what little bit of snow is left will take a beating.
 
Well here in parts of New Brunswick we did not make out so well. We are out of power since 11 last evening. Almost 120000 people all accross the province. Need to go fire up the generator in and connect a few things.
 
I have a generator, never used it.
I upgraded my panel for quick connect,
but never had a cable made or, dedicated parts of panel to switch.
Of course it will be come a priority the first time I need it LOL.
I do have more than enough extension cords if required.
Also have wood stove.
 
No power or anything open in Shediac since middle of the night. Got Generator going hooked up to a separate panel. There is power all around Champlain Place. Got some extra canisters and filled them and truck at Canadian Tire Dieppe.
 
No unfortunately. And we are hearing rumblings that it could be 3 to 5 days on the outskirts of town. And we are on the outskirts.
 
That's not good news. Thats like Juan. There must be trees down. Hope the rumors are not true. Hang in there.
 
Yeah exactly like Juan hit you guys. Many trees down. Still over 100000 people without power all accross NB. Was 130000 at one point today.
 
Wow not good, you have a place to go or options to keep warm?
I know you have a generator, but heat becomes and issue,
 
We are home safe and sound. Just went to get more gas for the generator. We have food. Ran the pump earlier and filled the tubs with water to flush and stuff. Have some to drink as well. Running the fridge, TV, satellite receiver, microwave when needed, a big light I have and a space heater. Surprisingly the chill is gone and it is pretty comfortable. May say different in the middle of the night after I shut off the generator. And I am drinking a Coors light. It could be a whole lot worst that is for sure.

Played board games with the kids this afternoon. I cannot remember the last time we all did that together. No wifi is amazing. Lol
