NB is only supposed to get 20 MM with 25 KPH winds. Much worse expected in NS, 100 MMs and winds to 70 KPH.

They are saying it’s the rain rather than the wind that will the thing to watch in NS and what you said makes sense. 100mm of rain in a short period of time is a lot. Especially when 3/4 of it will just run off the rock hard ground lol

they are calling for 40-50 mm in HRM area with wind around 60 km gusting to 70
so not bad, with chance of flash rains, we will see. Looks like cape Breton is one calling for most rain.

Keep in mind 2 days ago we were suppose to be 20-30 at 12 pm, then 2, then 5 , then 7pm
then 9, I went to bed expect to wake up to big rain HAHAHA.
at 5am next day we had nothing, it started at 540am rained for hour and 20 minutes
about 3mm, Idiots.

Two days ago they were saying we were going to get our first cyclone, this was before
it was even a cyclone north of Florida coast, yesterday nasty tropically storm.
today light tropical storm, with big rain lol.

who wants to bet on what we actually get? could be worse, could be less.
bet we know when it's over. Hundreds of millions of dollars in equipment
more PHD's than you can shake a stick at, they can't get 24 hours right 90%
of the time. these are the same people who predicted the end of it all 10 years ago
in 10 years, thats now. oh same people repeated themselves predicting the exact same thing 10 years from now.

I am going paving tomorrow, when it rains we will stop paving LOL.

Don't know where you picked 20mm ... i see 40-50mm right now on Meteomedia .... Any way it goes, it's gonna be a wet one for sure! Love having no garages :FordSmile NOT!!!!

CTV Atlantic. It's already raining in Dieppe, light rain though, supposed to stop tonight, then 4 days of Sun.

Yeah, when we'll move out of this home, be certain that we'll NOT be moving anywhere that there is no garages OR place enough to build the garage i want ....
Sadly for me, my garage sizes and equipment tastes are out there, so it won't be anything cheap probably, but it have to be setup to do light mechanic, wash cars indoors year round, AND polishing/compounding ready environment. Ideally should have a washing/drying machine for my microfiber towels (and not screw up/ dirty the house machine), 1/2 bathroom, heat pump to regulate the climate in the building, compressed air system for air tools (no need to be 500gallons, something for a house garage size hehe).

ahhh the plans that i have :)

Why stop there, Max?! Why not a hoist and dyno while you're at it!! A couple of 80" monitors and driving simulator for thebrainy days and winter while you're planning would be nice. Probably a bunk house and kitchen to keep you new best friends comfortable too:rofl

don't get me started on the lift ... i have something in my for that ... both for detailing cars AND doing light mechanic.... type will depend on the budget at time of garage acquisition OR construction :D
