Thought of the day.

Ouch, glad everyone is OK !!!

Well you don't seem to carry much good news lately Gerry, first you had to cancel part of the Fall Cruise and now this ??? Hope things turn around soon for you !!

Fred, I got to Moncton late today but learned you car was off duty sick. Hope it recovers soon.
I was brining a new guy with me. He just bought a Mustang last month. He locked his keys in the trunk after grabbing a towel to wipe off coffee he spilled in his car. We lost over 2 hours at the Lincoln Big Stop over that. Oh well, nice day for a drive.

Here's a thought. When you're on your way to a car show 3 to 4 hours away, don't lock yourself out of your car half way there!
I addressed that a long time ago. It started because I hate the key fob rubbing my knee when I work the pedals to rev match.
So, for several years I've carried my key fob in my pockets and only have ignition key in the ignition.

Cheers everyone!

This is the day I was glad I was NOT driving the Mustang! Biker was skuffed up but should be ok, bike not so good!

I`m also glad to hear that everyone involved is OK. What will happen to your work truck now? Will CAT junk it?

The truck is repairable, I doubt the bike is! A bumper, tailgate, hitch, and paint. I'm on vacation so I'll see what happens in a week or so. Hard to order fleet trucks now 2016 is over, 2017 order board not open yet.

My Friend Marc with the 73 Mach1 told me he spoke to you when you arrived.

I bet your Friend won't do that again. Tell him the reason that jeans come with two front pockets is for carrying 2 sets of keys.

There's and old saying about The Creator taking care of fools, drunks and little kids. When it comes to towing our trailer I don't think anyone would call me a fool, if anything probably too cautious, and I certainly wasn't drunk at 10:30 in the morning so I guess Angie and I come under the little kid catagory. We had just arrived at the trailer dealers to get some minor repairs done and I was slowly manuvering the trailer into a parking spot when there was a loud bang and the sound of escaping air as the left rear tyre on the truck blew out. As Angie put it "At least it wasn't on the highway when were coming home yesterday". That could have being interesting in a bad way

You have more energy than me, I didn't have to paddle, just pull throttle and steer LOL
I have never seen Hopewell rocks, would be very cool to do that.

It's fun Kayaking them, you can get into some of the arches and caves etc. The tours only run in the summer, end next weekend.

Jackie and I were at Hopewell rocks on Tuesday, we did the walking version. Spent most of the day there. Amazing what water can do.

Rented Jet Ski's today and cruised around Halifax harbour, what a blast.
2 hours we did whole harbour and seen the sights, great fun :)

Although Martin's Kayake Excursion through the Hopewell Rocks was Awesome , something that is powered by a Combustion Engine Like a Jet Ski , would be my first choice . Maybe next year they will have Jet Ski Tours of the Rocks. :FordSmile

I hate to admit it, but I agree, these things would do about 55MPH.
me paddling like would see top speed of 3mph LOL.
