Spring Dyno run.

Next event is the dyno run. We do have until a few days before to cancel any
un-needed rooms, so for those who are trying to make it work we have a bit of time.
Should be fun trip.

After that big event for us is Nationals in Moncton.

Note: Anyone thinking of going and needs a room, should try and book early
get can be very hard to get rooms last minute, ask me how I know LOL
 
I may need a tuning session after all. Since I put the Borla's on the other day, I noticed a flat spot somewhere above 6k rpm.
 
normally its each to their own, then we set up meet points.
It is almost impossible to group book for nationals
unless folks are will to commit exceptional early.
 
Phil are you on the Tune list now.

We will need a list of Mods for each car and if you have or need
an SCT tuner? I have to send this to Pete so he is ready for us.
 
I have an SCT tuner, K&N CAI, SR under drive pulley, stock h-pipe and flowmaster outlaw axle backs. hoping to have a bigger throttle body on for it, just dont have it yet..
 
Well its sorta a guys only thing, of course each to their own.
Rooms are booked with 2 guys sharing, we hang out at the dyno.
eat bad, drink beer in the room after hours, tell dirty jokes,
wonder around etc. we don't follow much of a real schedule Sat.
None of us have ever gone shopping that I know of LOL.

We have not had a lady with a Mustang asked to come to dyno yet,
soooo, do what you will with that.
 
ya and then you gotta tell truth about what you spent on mods.
not sure 3-4 hours at petes would much fun for most women LOL
 
Bill GT500 might be back in, not sure yet.
I guess we have up to 3-4 days before to cancel rooms if need be.
so any last minute add ons maybe possible :)

Ok folks. Time to start nailing down some of the details for this annual adventure. Trevor and I met today and here is what we got for information....

Departure will be 7am on Friday May 25th from the Irving Big Stop in Salisbury, New Brunswick. For those coming from Nova Scotia or anywhere outside of Moncton (unless it's on the way to St Stephen) please make sure you are there and ready to leave for 7am.

Plan is to drive straight to Performance Dyno, 34 Staniels Road in Loudon, New Hampshire with stops along the way for fuel, lunch, washroom breaks, etc and hopefully have all the cars tuned/dyno that Friday night. If not, first thing Saturday morning will be the plan....will confirm those details as we get closer and have official numbers.

Hotel for Friday night May 25th, 2018 is Holiday Inn Downtown Concord.....right downtown and walking distance to restaurants, bars, coffee. Also just off the highway and a 10 minute trip to Performance Dyno. Find a roomie and all is good!!

Saturday morning May 26th, 2018 we will either leave Concord from the hotel or from Performance Dyno once all vehicles have been completed. Plan is to take our time and do a coastal run eventually ending up in Bangor, Maine that evening. Stops include Old Orchard Beach and a drive up US Highway 1 getting on around Freeport, Maine. This is all weather permitting of course so route could be changed.

Hotel for May 26th, 2018 is Quality Inn Bangor.....hotel is beside the mall, gas stations, coffee shops. Great location walking distance from everything.

Sunday May 27th, 2018 is gas up and head for home!!!



The format is changed a bit from last year. We decided to put more of an emphasis on getting up to the destination quick and then slowly making our way back. Also Sunday will be a lot less of a drive which is nice for those working on the Monday. Also starting from Salisbury on Friday morning should be a good head start and get us to Loudon by 3pm to 4pm including stops etc.

We will finalize hotels next week and I will e-mail pete this week end,
So if you wanna do the trip, you got a week, if you wanna go on the Dyno,
you have until Sunday evening to let me know.
 
We are only 5 days away. Bills out he bought a cottage and it closes Thursday.
Pete has heads up and all looks good. I am thinking of staying Moncton Thursday night
If I can pull it off.

Depart time, 7:00am Salisbury Irving.

Radios folks bring a radio. I have two. if you have 1 or 2 post and bring them.
We only need 5 but would be good if everyone had one. If we don't have enough
we should be able to borrow a few.
