well its minus 160 here, ok maybe not that bad, just feels that way
so future forecast, thrsday 2-4 cm, friday 15 to 20 mm rain over night at +1 night time
can't see anyting going sideways here

plus if there is one, next weeks temps are much kinder and there is serious heat in the sun this time of year.
We need a nice March I can smell Mustang season

I can't say I'm jealous of you guys down there Trevor, but man a few more centimeters here would be nice for winter sports.
I cannot remember when we had such a weird winter, I can see both ways when leaving my street and I could sit on my deck right now.
Well like you said, maybe we'll be Mustanging in May, could even be April if it keeps up..........lol

Well 50 mm of rain, +9 now changing to frezzing rain, snow and dropping to minus 2 in 4 hours
monus 11 over night with windchill hitting -20
flood in crazy places, Freezing rain, flash freeze 2-8 cm os not from 1pm to 6 pm,
fun afternoon planned

It did get cold, took about 6-7 hours instead of 2-3,
no big wind and about 1 cm of snow,

so once again, forecasters got it horribly wrong.

Well today and tonight is a reminder to us all this shit isn't over.
As much as I have no desire to go out all night and salt

most of the maritimes.

We got some freezing raina nd fluurries, no where near as bad as predicted,
how did everyone else make out?

Charlottetown got rain for several hours (about 25 mms), then some freezing rain, followed by a cm of snow. Western PEI got much more snow. The north shore of PEI got a lot more freezing rain and power is still out in some areas there. Charlottetown did much better than forecast.

weather seems to have calmed down a little,
lots of warm weather and rain here, snow is gone, except for odd big pile,
surprizingly salt is already 90% off roads, could be an early April
out of hibernation for the Mustangs if this keeps up

Hope you keep all the snow across that side of the bridge. We have no snow over here and don't want any lol. Had white mustang out for little spin around block yesterday but little to early yet. Roads are still dirty. May get blue mustang for spin today lol.

Crazy this weekend going to get messing

Well, fast accumulating, heavy, wet snow and wind gusts of 60 km/h knocked out power up here all day.
Trees down on lines and some power poles down too.
Lost at around 4 this morning.
I was on generator from 10:00 am to 09:30 pm.
Some people won’t get back until tomorrow morning.
Only 15 cm fell but caused enough damage.
Yesterdsy’s rain changed to snow here around 10 last night.
Didn’t take long before power went out.

If you can pull it off, a home generator can’t be beat.

There aren’t a lot of outages, but it sure is nice to have when they occur.

I’ve had my portable unit for 13 years now, more than paid for itself.

Enough to give me light and heat, and keep the fridge and freezer running.

Crappy day in Maritimes today, mostly snow not sticking here, hopefully
turns to rain before it does, but salt trucks have been out, hope enough rain comes to wash that
away, this is not helping the start of Mustang season
