Calling for lots of rain here over the next few days. Will definitely wash up the roads.

Edmundston got around 8 inches of wet snow and ice pellets yesterday.
Plows out and all.
St-Leonard and Grand Falls got away lucky.
Rain only, but cold.
It was raining at -1 but not freezing rain.
Can’t recall seeing that before.
Had to watch for slippery spots driving.
We might get more snow Monday.

We've been really lucky in this area, no snow, sleet , salt in a few weeks..might even take the mustang to get gassed up today.
Well good news - bad news
No salt in city this morning
BUT, they are calling for 6 hours of freezing drizzel tonight
BUT it is followed by 25 mm of rain.
Fortuantely new salt will wash away quicker than residue salt.
so hopefully its gone quick, also calling for rain, monday and tuesday.
Plan is to fire her up this week and with any luck a little spin.

but no heavy salting going on, but still

and more this week, I suspect no ill effects from light salt today.
I hope anyway, still on track for car out next weekend.

On the road again
Almost an inch of the ice pellets on the car and garage roof - turning to rain now. Let’s hope if precipitation comes it’s just rain from now until December . I’m really hoping for lots of Sun ?
Went to Mom and dads today just outside of richibuctou. It was nice on the way there. Roads were crap on the way back. Snowed probably 10 cm or so.
Mother Nature is not done yet. Must be because I switched both daily’s to summer tires. Lol.

Lastest road report, over last couple of days, I have seen
Fall River, hammond plains, purcells cove, tantallon,
halifax, bedford, middle Sackville, Cole Harbour, dartmouth and Eastern passage.
Over next few days I will covered the outer reaches of HRM also.
NO Salt Anywhere I have been, roads a bit dirty in spots, more than enough
pot holes for slalom driving. but for locals taking car out it is pretty safe,
keep an eye on odd parking lot and bridges as they salt without warning.
Good / bad news, weather for next 3-4 days great, long range
this is followed by 6 years of rain LOL.
If all stays as is, I will be uncovereing the baby this weekend
