2021 World Juniors

Canada played a solid game,
1st and 2nd periods close to perfect.
3rd was more of what most of us expected.

Hopefully going into elmination round, they can play like this.
 
Ended up being a little closer than Canada would have liked in the end but like Trevor said, close to a perfect first and second. I am seeing some issues though. Special teams has not looked that great. Power play and penalty kill have to be better if they wanna win this thing. Weird thing to say when the team put it on cruise to win the group lol
 
Russia beat Germany to advoance to semis, in what turned out to be a very good game.

Finland came back to beat Sweden in a come back victory, scoring the winner with 29 seconds left.

Canada beat Czechs in a game where Canada likely played their worsed game.

US beat SVK to advance to Semis.

So semis being Monday night

Canada - Russia at 7:30 ( looks like short zoom call LOL.

Finland -US at 10:30


Playing for the right to fight for gold.
 
Yep Canada played their worst game for sure last night. Came out of the gate strong and then that was it. Just kinda hung on and iced it when they scored in the empty net. Have to be better against the Russians. Although the Russians have been hot and cold so far. Should be interesting.

Yeah looks like Canada plays Monday at 8:30 our time so we will make it a quick call for those who want to join in.

This as always should be a great game, not sure how many times they
have played but always good hockey. Go Canada Go.

Yes Canada and Russia never disappoints. Going to be a good game to watch.

Well that was a nice first period. Hard to understand the Russian player names but I got this out of it so far.
