I did the Classic Design Concepts light bar on my '06 way back, it was a good mod, one of my first, and it was definitely a measure twice, drill once project !!!

So did a bunch of stuff around the house today. Tonight I decided to put on a few of my small mods I had ordered.

I changed the cabin air filter. I swapped out the engine air filter (Motorcraft) for a K and N reusable one. I also changed the radio antenna to a shorty antenna. Really like the look of that.

First quick shake down run of the season. Put on about 100 km for a quick cruise. Everything checks out ok. Safety inspection this Wednesday.

Well the car had its safety inspection done today. All set for another 2 years. No issues to report. It’s also safely parked at the Wife’s work.

Had an awesome weekend. Got out on Saturday for a nice drive from Salisbury to Mactaquac on the back roads.

Yesterday afternoon we got the 01 and the 19 out for some Nationals weekend road checks.

My son and his Fiancee in the 19 and my Wife and I in the 01. First ride of the season in the 01. It was nice to get out and stretch its legs.

Topped it all off with supper at the Casino !!

Well today is once again bitter sweet. We had an awesome run yesterday and coming back this morning with friends of ours towards Fredericton. All said and done burned a tank of gas. That being said I spent this afternoon detailing and getting the car ready to put away for the winter. 8300 km total for the season. We had some great trips on our own as well as with other people.
