2018 Ford Mustang Pro Stock

So after a quick fun debut to ask folks what car is, I will give you some details.
2018 Hemke Chassis Pro Stock car, it was made for Ovals, offset chassis versus perimeter chassis.
These cars are for the most part all the same, except nose and engine and maybe few small details.
in Other words not hard to make it any manufacture you want.

This car was built to follow the pro stock tour in Maritimes and was built for its rules..
So major different is I am going road racing, so few things to change, and outside of safety there are no rules :)
98% of racing " unless spec series" is now bracket racing, so rules done't apply, build your car faster it goes further up
you go in class, In Canada thats GT 1, and likely where this will end up, might be GT2 first summer, but it will be GT 1
Before i am done :)

Car is very solid, with tons of spares, some useful some, not much good to me.
I will post a few pic's and write more to follow and then over winter you can follow the transformation
from Oval car in its current form to Road racing car.

Nice . That will be a fun build!

First race weekend of the year, Sat tech, couple of test sessions,
then Sundays schedule below, weather is not being kind, cold for sure and maybe a bit wet

A pic from yesterday, cold but dry,
today not so much, Cold and mostly wet,
got warm up done in dry, 1 qualifying done in dry, me series qualifying was most damp
doing good till some one else spun and brough out fred flag,

Mitchell got his race in, bit wet to start got worse, 8 degrees and wet, not good
scenario for out car espercially on slicks, 3 offs, considering sending bill for lawn mowing,
not real damage, but not much fun.

I decdied not to race, because if its not going to make me smile, whats the point,
still had a fun weekend, took car home in 1 piece and other than a little clean up and a brace,
be already for next race weekend, hopefully not so cold and nasty. :)
