Thought of the day.

Here is my thought for today.

When I get asked by the navigator if I'm going for a ride and reply "no...heading out for a therapy session" there's no more discussion and I'm usually on my own! Sometimes she says "are you coming back".....I think I've been handed an option! Haven't bit on that yet, as all funds to pay legal fees are tied up in car parts!

Thats how you tell the difference between someone who has a passion for Mustangs and the hobby, versus someone who's just driving a Mustang.

The Mustang enthusiast will give a nod to another Mustang enthusiast to say "hey, nice ride" and have the acknowledgement returned, the ones that don't wave back are just driving a Mustang.
Yeah that makes sense. If there is eye contact and no nod or wave you might as well be driving a cette. Lol

Hope your wife doesn't read this, you know, she doesn't have to be a member.
Also you have a family member here now :p

We sold a very low km 2017 this past February.
Went to southwest NB.

Well, like the sound of exhaust and long tubes, very low km is subjective and open to the individual’s interpretation.
It had around 6000 km if memory serves me right.

This one.

I’ll keep an ear to the ground.
We deal with Quebec dealers and sometimes interesting items pop up.

Like the car above, we came by that because we had a low km Cadillac Escalade to unload and a GM dealer in Quebec had a Shelby to unload to make way for their Corvettes.

The horse trading benefited both parties.

I"d be lying if I said I wasn't toying with the idea of selling mine.

Problem is I'd rather pour gas all over myself and set myself on fire before I would sell privately and deal with all the idiots that seems to attract.

There's a reason I've traded in for the last 20 years. lol

I was in the same frame of mind over the winter and thought of trading on a newer ecoboost. They are becoming too common though and you see less and less new edges around all the time. And as you mentioned private sales are not good the right person has to have cash or a credit line because the banks will not give loans for older cars. That is why the person I bought from dropped the price when I mentioned I had cash in hand.He had a lot of interest but they couldn't come up with the money.
