By the sounds of things from Roger, we can pick pretty much any weekend from the end of October til the end of May and find snow! January is in the middle, so might be a safe bet!

Up here clearing snow can be a job all its own.
But I play hockey twice a week on weeknights.
Then when temps are not too cold.
Anything above -12, I cross country ski on weekends. Getting out at -20 not so fun anymore.
Ski skating, narrow skis and lycra garb like you see on tv during the Olympics.
I raced at National level for 25 years.
People say I make it look easy.
It is for me.

Lots of sledding up here too.
Don’t practice myself but have been on machines often enough before.
Trail on abandoned railway bed between St-Leonard and Campbellton runs just down bellow my house.

Where to get a few sleds? Where to book in to stay? Where to eat? (unless you're opening up the house & Sally is cooking!!) Fill us non-sledders in on how to pull this off!

Been doing the same around here the last few weeks (being outdoors). Did some snowshoeing at Fundy and Fatbiking around Dieppe. Next stop Kouchibouguac and Fundy with the fat bike!! We really do not get as nice looking frozen waterfalls around here lol?
