Wheel Wednesday

Love the fighter jet grey.
That’s the direction I’m thinking of going minus the the handling pack.

The non handling package has larger rear spoiler for 2022 than 2021.
Looks like GT350 spoiler minus Gurney flap.
And I would keep my Forgestar wheels, so would come pretty close to handling pack.
Would add Maximum Motorsport CC plates.

And very important for me, would be easier to load on my trailer.

If I pull trigger, I’m going manual and Recaros.

Second colour choice would be Grabber blue.

Going to Desilivas on May 02 for some goodies I’ll keep everyone posted with some pictures once completed

That’s a nice build.
We have it’s carbon copy brother in our showroom in velocity blue.
Everything else the same.

Sold before Christmas.
Waiting clean roads to go to its new home.
Owner is having Ford Performance resonator delete X pipe installed before it leaves.

sounds like a nice set-up hopefully after this years add on’s I will plan for the Recaros and rear seat delete over the winter.

I keep going back and forth between handling pack and not.

I’m basically looking for a “Swiss army knife” equivalent Mustang.

I want the coolers, handling and braking for track use, but want to be able to load on my trailer and to be able to tour without worry.
For example, I want to be able to load on a ferry without worry if it comes to that.
I fear the lower stance and long front splitter of the HP could be an issue.

My wife from Vancouver Island, so not impossible that car could find its way on a BC ferry in future.
Or just St-John to Digby, or Caribou ferrys.

I’ve got the touring ability, plus brakes, brake cooling, suspension and wheel-tire combo for track nailed on my 15, but being that it’s an automatic with no coolers, I fear it could be a candidate for limp mode issues at the track on a hot summer day.

So I’m leaning toward no HP but use a few after market parts and wheels to make it pretty close while being slightly higher stance and no front splitter.

“Swiss army Mustang.”
That moniker befits the fighter jet grey colour pretty good. ?

not replace, add my man, ADD.

I wish I could.

But also looking at building an equipment shed.

Started as wanting nice large garage for equipment and other things.
You know, insulated and heated…
32x48’ish.

Well they’re expensive nowadays.
So got me thinking that non insulated or heated equipment shed for trailer, mower and blower storage in summer leaves funds for Mustang upgrade, unfortunately not add. ?

That sounds like you know what you want, the front end splitter on these are cool but need to always beaware of your surroundings. Your ride sounds like you have it dialed in

Thanks.
My car is well sorted and a good handler.
If it was manual, I would tend to want to hang on a bit more.
Be a good opportunity for someone when I part with it.

I’m just looking for one step more for hot weather performance repeatability.
All the coolers on the Mach are the big attraction for me.
I picked it up in 2019 and started modifying right away but due to covid, have not been to track with that car.
It might work well too up here in our relatively cooler climate.
My 06 will run all day and not complain.
The S197 have fewer sensors all over to monitor conditions.
The S550 have more sensors all over and can throw car into limp mode quicker.

It can get pretty hot on track.
Best fun you can have with your clothes on though.

You have a nice car there yourself. ?
