Wheel advice

Yah, Ford Racing wheels are pretty nice.
Strong, sturdy and pretty good looks.
A little heavy though, which contributes to the strong part.

I have two sets for my 06.
A set of 2007-2009 GT500 and a set of 2010 GT500.

But on the 2015, I have a set of Forgestar.
Now there’s some nice wheels.
Forged for strength and light weight.
Good looks and custom made for each car with appropriate back spacing per tire size on front and back.
But dare I say it, more expensive than the Ford Racing.

Hmmm!
I find the ones I have are pretty light.
19 inch Forgestars noticeably lighter than 18 inch SVT wheels.
Or all the cheaper cast wheels dealerships carry like Fast, RSSW or DAI and the like.
most don't say wieght, but on there website, seen one set at 29 lbs each.
very close to stock, most stock mustang wheels come in at 32-33 lbs each.

3-4 lbs per wheel, that’s pretty good.
They’re forged so solid too.

If you want lighter than that, I can only think of even more expensive racing wheels like BBS.
They could be a few pounds lighter.
Maybe around 25-26.

You’ll have to get carbon wheels for that car too. ?

Another good thing about Forgestar is not just custom finish.
When you order, you tell them the width of tire you plan on putting on and the wheel is custom made with proper offset to fit nicely in the well.
Not too far in like OE and not too far out as to cause issues with rubbing.

Or if you had rolled fenders, you could tell them how much rolled and they could compensate the offset to make it look good.
