What did you do to your mustang today

Well today, made the pony jump into 2015 and up! Bought this key from ebay, had it cut by a local locksmith. After litteraly 45 seconds, it was programmed and running my car! sorry for the shitty ass picture, screenshot from a video i've done of the startup.
Everything works: locks, unlocks, chirp and opens the trunk! (Obviously start the car as well! )

Opened the garage door , started the car, pulled it ahead 2 feet and it started raining. Backed into the garage. Repeat 4 times, that was my Saturday!

Installed my -“ new to me” hood today with a helping hand from Brian. Now to find the time to finish the clean up for the Nationals.

Nice picture at Mount Washington.
I'm surprised to see all their snow gone at that altitude.
My son drove through Gaspe provincial park last weekend and they still had an impressive amount of snow on Mont Albert.

There was still some snow in sheltered valleys but most was gone.

Well I decided to install LED fog light and headlight bulbs today on the stang. I love the Color change as well. In the first picture I only changed the left one and you can see it is not as yellow as the right one. Second picture they are all done. I was running HID in the top headlights but I was getting flashed by other cars so I will see if the LEDs are better.

Got the clean up done - just in time for the bugs tomorrow !

Finally got the tire rotation complete, not the tire spinning. With the square set up its easy to balance the wear. But if a set of 17” deep dish bullet style 10” wheels became available ..... hmmmm, just maybe I’d live with the wear !

That is exactly why i will stay square setup on my new wheels as well, control the wear of the tires. Anyhow, they only last me two summers no matter what, thanks to mileage and autocrossing hahaha.

Got stopped in a spot check and they gave me a warning about my tinted side windows ..next time is a $172.50 fine , when I was leaving he said " hey No Grip" your not hard to spot , I'll check next time I see you .". So I'm debating ripping off my tint

I have been there and done that after a traffic stop. Never avoided the ticket though. It was a bitch to take off as well. Whatever you do do not put your window down until you are sure you have all the residue off.

If you do tear down I’d advise to have it done by the shop that installed them in the first place...you’ll be happy you saved yourself the headache ...

Well I got the fine and a warning if we got again we were getting another one. Wife worked in that village everyday so I did what I had to do.

I was talking to Doug last night whom some of you know from the Dyno run. he said the rule is film or spray tint is illegal, if you order glass that is tinted , then you're ok. I double checked the motor vehicle act last night and he's bang on ...unfortunately I could not find any tinted glass online last night, might go see Jason at Custom today to see if he has any info as to order tinted glass

That clause is more made to make those big bimmers and benzes pass.... you know those big $100k-$200k luxury road yatch? You can order them from factory with tainted glass all the way.
My GF crosstrek have “privacy glass” oem tinted but only in the back.
