What did you do to your mustang today

Update on my transmission rebuild : picked up the car tonight and it works awesome again, quick and firm shifts ..
I also figured out why it started slipping. . You see I finally received my vanity plate a couple weeks ago and and just put it on the car. I forgot to tell my car that the NO GRIP plate was in reference to the tires , she must have thought it was transmission related and she just started slipping into gears thinking that was what I wanted ..we had a good talk tonight and I apologized for not making myself clear as to what the Plate meant and I'm not mad at her . I just asked her to talk to me if she ever has any doubt it confusion with me and we'll work it out together . Communication is key in any relationship fellas .. IMG_20180528_1600106.jpg

I tend to use the automatic in mine as if it was a chultchless manual instead of leaving it in drive. I also used my tuner to ease the shift pressure by 5% which made things smoother as well

Exactly what I do.Did you go +5% with the tuner or -5%.I have mine at +15 right now but am still playing with it.

Major improvement in throttle response. A good run & kept it out of the bushes! Seems to really pull above 6k band. Waiting for longtubes to come and really see what comes from getting the coyote breathing.

Mine was rough into 3rd and chipping the tires 1st to 2nd when I come onto it.Trying to smooth it out a little.

Picked up my Stepper motors on Saturday and put them in tonight ..
not as bad as a job as I was thinking .. Start to finish in about 1.5 hours . Cluster comes out really easy. I bought the kit 05 gt 5spd suggested (tks!) The solder vacume is a must. A couple pins broke but re-heated and came right out .. once all removed I used a straight pic to clean the holes before putting in the new motors .. Re-soldered them in and installed the needles . Calibrated them I think .. I'm leaving the lens off till I can drive it and get the temp up and fill with fuel and double check all the gauges before I put lens back on..
