What did you do to your mustang today

Had the BULLITT Flat Bed Towed to Shepp's yesterday for next week's clutch and flywheel replacement.

Had to rev car to 3,000 rpms to park it in shop's yard, clutch is Flucked. :FordSmile

Picked the car up at Shepp's last night.

What a Difference.

On a scale of 1 to10 : clutch pedal effort, the last 2 clutches 9-10 (stiff), this one is a 1 :FordSmile

The clutch that was in the car when I got it 6 years ago was brutal, and the one I put in last year wasn't much better.

It was a Ceramic Clutch with an Aluminum Flywheel.

Brent the owner of Shepp's got me an aftermarket, stock replacement clutch kit for an 01 BULLITT, ( not the one they put in the standard GT) for $433.75, and a Steel Flywheel for $417.45.

While he had it apart, he changed the Tranny oil, Pivot Bolt and clutch bolts and $1,804.86, I have a car that will be able to drive for years.

Well the Stang has been washed for its final time this season. Need to wax and vacuum then tuck it away for another year. Had a good year over 7000KM

Black 2003 has not done much this year, but the Green one has done a few thousand, not as much as last year with the trip Utah. But it has driven to Detroit and back for the Woodward Dream Cruise.
