Last trip to NB resulted in me and the mustang fighting with a 2 foot 6x6 in the middle of my lane. The resulting large dent in the oil pan required closer attention. Have not been driving the car since I found the damage. Last night after removing the strut brace, intake and alt, raising the engine with Rick/ Sean's engine lift and dropping the "K" member I got clearance to remove the pan. Luck was on my side and the 3/4 inch deep dent was behind the pick up. The oil pump pickup was undamaged . After few dozen well placed hammer blows delivered through several pieces of hardwood the dent was massaged out of the pan and the car was reassembled. Finished in time for a trial run fto Masstown Market for supper, no leaks. For any who may have seen me on the road today I know the car was dirty but I decided that dirty Mustang being driven trumped clean Mustang parked!
PS also got the new tires on last week. - decided to wear the last out of the old ones in miles vs smoke - no video for Phil - sorry!
