After the instructor stopped telling him to keep his hands down they crept back up again...
Very good point about squeezing slowly coming out of turns.
They touched on that a lot and at the end the instructor says most people punch it too hard.
A good analogy is to compare turning on a light switch to turning up volume on music with an old time turn dial.
The light switch is instant on with no modulation.
That’s a bad way to accelerate out of a turn.
The volume button is a gradual increase.
That’s the right way to accelerate out of a turn.
The more the road straightens, the more accelerator can be applied.

Good comparisons there Marc. I never tracked a car before so it was cool to watch how calm the instructor was as well. He only grab the wheel a couple of times. Lol. Must need nerves of steel for that I would guess lol.

All other daily stresses dissipate.
The world shrinks to you, the car and the track.
And my last line above, I should have explained slightly differently.
Instead of saying the more the road straightens the more accelerator can be applied.
I should have said the more your steering wheel is straight the more accelerator can be applied.
Almost the same but different also.
