Ya but the chips are getting bad, paint on new cars
far to soft, its in my near future.

Man I wouldn't want to have to paint your. It just seems too soon to me
they have gone to water base airborne paint systems.
Paint is soft on most cars, shows up more on mine
or cars like this, because of design, nose heights
and tires don't help much.
Biggest issue is, what and how do I paint
to make it so its not ever 4-5 years.
Yeah I know we had that discussion before about the paint. I still find it hard to believe. Definitely do not want to have to do it every 4 years. Shit a set of tires last 6 for me lol.

I was thinking the same thing ?
So I was talking with Santa over the last few days ( I have her on speed dial lol) I added to my list a JLT cold air intake and a set of maximum motorsports lower control arms. I need to finish up the rear end as my maganflow still hits a bit sometimes on hard bumps. I was told that this will change the angle a bit so hopefully that will help. i also need to get some colder air to the motor as mentioned earlier in the thread. The more I read the JLT is the way to go with the 2 v as well.
Then hopefully a custom tune next year as well

Well likely you weren't, but I hear bribing santa is an option lol.
JLT is one of the top air intakes, you should be quite happy.
Tune if we get to go will make you very happy I think.

Yeah time to ditch the K & N as plenty have suggested. Then a real dyno tune will be in order after that. It's time. Always just had mail tunes.
Saleen has a K&N. Off a Terminator I believe. No idea what came stock on it. Previous owner must have changed it.
On another note, the vert will finally get the Ford Racing lowing springs installed once out of storage. So thinking that the shocks and struts should also be replaced. Don’t wanna go crazy with this car but think it will help a lot. Think I wanna stick with Ford Racing......two options.
