I hear that, I have a little bucket list and a big bucket list.
Big bucket list, would require lotto win lol.
 
Groomers are out full fledge on the trails, younger guys down the street are running all over the place with their new sleds, had the snow blower out seven eight times, cursed the snow bank at roadside as rain came right after storm followed by freeze your but weather so now it's just ice and lets not forget that the vehicles look like shit as sand and salt all over roads make them just filthy, yep winter is definitely here!! But heck I still like it, lots of fun stuff to do in winter wonderland.. On the other hand Florida kinda sounds good now that I think about it .....
 
last few years we have been spoiled, no real snow
until January. I have only had to salt 8-10 times here,
plows have not touched the ground yet.
Looks like Turkey diner may get delayed.
 
Forecast changes quick and likely will again.
Down to 2-3cm Monday, which would salt event for me.
Bonus if it happens. Raining here today, looks like central and Northern NB
are in for fair amount of Freezing rain, hope its not to bad.
 
Snowing now and expecting up to 20 cm today and another 15-20 Christmas day.
So just received an early Xmas gift as wife and daughter got together and contracted out snow removal for the year. They said I was working too hard at keeping driveway clear for them at my age lol. Ah cool more time for snowmobiling now....friggin' awesome !!
 
Actually got that wrong yesterday. When I said Christma Eve, I meant today. Like Roger says, we’re getting 20 cm today and a bunch more Christmas day. Too early to say how much yet, but I think less than southern nb for once. Storm supposed to pass further south than the one today. Anyway no lack of cold. Coming home from senior hockey game last night at 11:30 thermometer in truck read minus 29. Anyway sitting by the fireplace at my parents’ place tonight with family.

we had rain and +4 temps last night. no snow left at all in the greater Rothesay Area. sunny and -2 today. supposed to get some snow for Christmas though
 
Garage addition update
Looks like my siding was finally delivered, they must have been waiting for a reindeer training run on the 23rd. Got inside wired, insulated, OSB on first 8ft of the walls to protect from tooling and bumps, Sheetrock on the ceiling and top of walls, ready for taping and paint. Got some of the siding on the front today, might get front and side covered before 2018 !

Well, another 20 cm falling here today.
Whipped around by 30 to 50 km/hour winds.
Minus 11 going down to minus 15.
On the positive side, no freezing rain here.
 
Looks like you got the worst of it, we got nasty freezing rain this morning.
Salted for 5 hours straight on places that were open, then it went up to 8
rained a bit, everything melted, just salted again, blowing here like crazy.
about 90,000 people without power so far. NS power will be bust for day or two.

I still think we got the lesser of the evils, compared to rest of Atlantic Canada.
