Thought of the day.

Wow.
Could be a bit nose heavy in a Mustang, especially with a blower, even in aluminium form.
But maybe they can push the front axle forward in a redesign and work on front to rear balance.
Power should be good.
And torque, improved with displacement, even better.
Remember the old saying, no replacement for displacement.
Well, there is a replacement, and it’s called boost.
But displacement always a good thing for gear heads. ?

remember the head line is followed by big ?????
whole thing sounds strange unless looking at trucks, raptors
warthog bronco etc, but Mustangs is hard to beleive they would go bigger.

We can dream it will happen, but not sure I would beleive it until announced.

I stopped using Stabil a few years ago
A friend of mine put it in everything,
found in two of his small engines, they had
jelled up and he had to take apart carbs to get it
all clean.

I have the ability to access my car, so I do it a little different,
not sure if it works but I am good with it.
I have a little over half tank when put away, I go atleast 3 times to start
and let run, when I do I add 5 litres or so of new fuel.
I was told this will work, who knows, but really don't want to risk
jelling fuel system in my car.

Jelled up in a small engine, first thought that comes to my mind is that maybe he used too much stabilizer in such a small tank in a small engine application ??

I follow the recommended dosing for the car, maybe a little on the lower side to be conservative, and have had good luck so far.

Always put the stabilizer in first, then top off the tank to help with uniform mixing.

Main thing is to burn off that first tank in the spring ASAP, I've heard Stabil drops the octane rating, so I'm more concerned with that, but hopefully using 93 offsets the difference.

But really, for six months storage, how bad do you really need stabilizer ?

Could be worth a Google to see what the shelf life of gas is.

Smart enough to mix it in a 10 litre batch, I had visions of dumping it right into the tank.

Google says shelf life of untreated gas is three to six months.

Other option is to drain and dry I suppose.

Phone case looks sweet, I'd almost give up my Otterbox for one. lol

Yea

With the Corporate Average Fuel Economy Number going up every year I doubt that such a Big Engine would go in the Mustang, maybe it could find a Place in Ford Super Duties.

If it ain’t broke

Don’t Fix it.
