Got out this afternoon for the last Mustang Cruise of the Season. Shediac thru Cocagne and coastal road to Buctouche, then through Ste. Marie , St. Antoine to Moncton. Covered 87 miles or 140 kilometers. Hit the 136,000 mile or 217,600 kilometers. Oil and Filter change next Friday, then into Winter Storage the next day.

Had a Bit of a Health Scare last week. Wednesday Mid Day, Had Unexplained Pain and Numbness in my Right Arm. Friend at work who had 4 Heart Stints installed last year, pointed out to me that pain in Arm doesn't necessarily have to be on left side to be Heart related and he STRONGLY suggested that I go the the Hospital Emergency Department Immediately and he would drive me to the Hospital.

I spent 6 and a half hours there, had an Electrocardiogram , 2 blood tests (3 hours apart), a chest X Ray and a CT Scan of Cranium.

Everything came back Good, with no sign of Heart or Brain Trauma. Had a Stress Test Friday and passed that as well, with Flying colors.

After going through all of that, pretty sure I know what problem is know, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. 10 Years of Typing long Reports for the Provincial Government, using non ergonomically correct work stations.

I have been experiencing neck pain on same side as arm that was bothering me, for years, along with elbow pain.

Have already started filling out the Workers Compensation Forms and will see my Family Doctor and get Work Safe to provide Physio etc.

While Uncomfortable, this is Way Better than Heart Disease. :FordSmile

Glad you are ok Fred.

Turkey Dinner Sat night, Hot turkey sandwich for Breakfast Sunday.
Dinner at brothers house, featuring turkey :)
Hot turkey and fries tonight.
I do believe I am turkeyed out.

Good till Christmas now.

Broke with tradition....after a big Turkey dinner with folks on Sunday. Had a feast of baby back ribs. Wss funny to watch the kids and partners n
motor through 20 lbs of ribs, demolish a couple of pumpkin pies then lament over not having Turkey! Said next year would be a reservation for 10 at Swiss Chalet or nothing!

When do you have your Turkey soup, Trevor?!

When I had my battery replaced the p
afternoon before the fall run, my shop mgr said their battery rep was around and saying 3 years is about the extend of a good battery life now! Disconnecting for 6 months per year still doesn't extend the life. Doesn't seem like that many vehicles ago a 5 year failure free life expectancy seemed to be fairly standard.

I think it was my aftermarket alarm that drained it.Usually it is on trickle charge when not being used but I forgot to hook it up.

We need the bunny to make car batteries :)
they all advertise made better than ever,
the certainly cost a lot more, funny how that works.

Energizer does make car batteries. They are sold at Walmart.I've had good luck with Costco batteries and Optima doesn't make one for my Mustang.

Funny you mention five years of useable service, as a conservative measure, I replaced the battery in my truck at the five year mark with another Motorcraft. Maybe it was just the fact it was five years old, but I felt like it was starting to decline in cranking performance, and for what it cost, it was cheap insurance to not get stuck somewhere with a battery that was dead.

Jury is still out on the car, the first two years I stored it, I didn't bother with a trickle charger and it fired right up. Last year and this year I am using a trickle charger.....so I'm all over the place. lol
