Thought of the day.

:agree, watched an Entire Episode last night. Wasn't my Cup of tea, and I'll just leave it at that.

I prefer the shows that are restoring desirable Muscle cars, and not Rocket Ships.

But the Guy is definitely an "Artist"

His cars are works of art for sure. The car build shows I tend to watch, in no particular order, Fantomworks, Bitchin Rides, Restoration Garage, All Girls Garage, Chasing Classic cars. One of the things I like about Restoration Garage is that it is quirky in that they feature everything from Land Rovers to antique tractors and airplanes

A lot can go bad on a vehicle in 2 years, I like the annual Inspection.

PEI has an annual inspection. I always viewed this as a "minimum standard" at the time the inspection is documented but isn't a permit for 12 months of vehicle safety. I've always had a licensed inspection quarterly. For 12 month vehicles it's 2 oil changes and tire swaps spring & fall so no extra trips & my shop includes the extra once over in the labor charge. For the mustang, it's a tire rotation mid driving season with an an annual inspection in the spring & a fall checkup before the cover goes on in Oct. For the extra effort, it saves dealing with an unexpected equipment failure and easier to schedule when you know your pads have 5-8,000 km of life left on them. Given the road conditions here in PEI even after the seasonal paving & patching id underway, anything can happen.

Anyone of you fellas ever deal with "CARID.com" for parts ?? Wondering how they are to deal with and how their shipping to Canada is as far as surprises at the door is concerned ??

Heard of them, but not bought anything. I'd be interested in seeing if anyone else has.

Another night of rain and more today.. Quite warm and sunny tomorrow.
the snow, ice and frost is taking a beating. Forecast has a few cold nights and some flurries
but it looks like we are past winter. All signs point to getting car out early rather than late:)

Gotta get the convertible the 20th of April. Doesn't matter what the weather it has to be that day. Fingers crossed that we are all through winter by then and the roads are clear

Halifax on that date?
You should have no issues.
Now northern NB on the other hand, that's another story.

Never herd of them Roger.

I have dealt with Brenspeed, AM(American Muscle), CJ Pony Parts and LMR(Late Model Restoration) from the states and all gave good service.
No surprises with any of them.

Actually got great customer service from Brenspeed years ago.
One wheel damaged in shipping.
Called them and sent pictures.
They sent replacement wheel at absolutely no cost to me. No duties, no shipping, and I was allowed to keep the damaged wheel.
No need for me to deal with returning damaged wheel. No need to deal with customs.
I was impressed.

I like all these.
Not so much All Girls' which I find simplistic at times.
Although Cristy Lee and Rachel De Barros are not hard on the eyes.
I also like Gas Monkey Garage, Joe Martin's Iron Resurrection, Counting Cars and Speed is the New Black.
I also enjoyed the old Top Gear on Netflix.
I don't have Amazon Prime to follow the new series.

Well we didn't get the 10 to 15 cm like they said was possible up here last night but we did get a full blanket of wet and white.
A lot melted as it came down and a bit of melt now with about +2 outside.
We probably got 5 to 10 with about 4-5 left on the ground as of now.
Down to minus 8 tonight, minus 10 tomorrow night and minus 13 Monday night.
Still chilly.

Talking about car shows....any Roadkill fans here?

I can watch those episodes on youtube over and over, so good, Finnegan & Frieberger do an awesome job.

Not a fan of paying Motortrend to watch them since they decide they could make a buck off of it, but at least the first 76 or so episodes are still up on youtube.
