Thought of the day.

I drove to Fredericton on Wednesday to deliver a Transit 350 high roof to a rep from a big property remediation company from Halifax. Met him at airport there.
We sold to them because we were the only ones in Maritimes to have that vehicle on lot.
Anyway, no snow tires on that sucker.
Had to make sure I stayed in the furrows opened by the tractor trailers.

Here's a few pics on TCH around 11:00 Wednesday morning.

Well enough is enough, snow plow and salt trucks running around here during the night and again this morning. Had snow followed by 4-5 hours of freezing rain during the night. Really not ready for this at all, it's just plain shitty !!!! Leaving soon for week of hunting and what I hear is that there is over two feet of snow up there...........gee it's only October !!

Sorry winter came so quick. Weather sure is different only 5-6 hour drive away. I’m looking at +14c on the thermometer and buckets of rain last night.

Yeah a few hours away can make a huge difference and actually just a few miles away sometimes does the same. My daughter is building a new house and it should be going up in a few weeks as the foundation was poured last week. She has over a foot of snow up there which complicates things a bit, frustrating for October. I was on her land a few days ago and had to use 4x4 to get out ... lol
Raining now so it should melt, hopefully ??

They finally reopened the Dieppe Boulevard Overpass after months of construction closure. On ramps from Highway 15 to it still closed but at least I could take Detour to get on to it instead of having to take the 132 through Scoudouc and past the Airport to work every morning.

Update on Angie's rack, steering rack for you dirty minded readers. Gerry kindly dropped by last night to double check my work and tighten a few bolts that I wasn't sure of because of Mr Art Ritus sitting on my shoulders and hands. This morning I filled it up with power steering fluid and started to get the air bled, sounded like hell for the first few turns. Eventually most of the air came out after 2 top ups and it sounded better. It's now at OKTire for an alignment and brake line replacement, then hopefully off to winter storage
