The Good Old Days

Is this really a thing? Your schools don't offer these trades? Schools in the boonies where I am offer, plumbing, electrical, automotive, metal fab. The residental construction framing class even has a sawmill to mill their own lumber. I could only dream of having an auto shop like my sons high school.
not anymore, actually not for about 20+ years, they wisdom of our gov, removed them at the time for computer labs,
now we would agree, teaching computers in school is a good idea, but not at the expense of other trades,
well now they are talking about putting them back in high schools.

WOW, that is surprising to me. Trades never really left HS here, just expanded. FYI my son is currently in HS. There is a totally seperate education path for those who choose trades in HS. Part of it involves on the job apprenticeships of sorts in a trade as HS curriculum credit.

You guys need to move from the city. Good old days still a thing here I guess. 😁😁
