your right, after 4 years, when we finally got on track, I got the racing bug again.
orignal plan was Al might race it and I would do some lapping, etc.
But that said, I found low HP front wheel drive was not really my thing,
racing rear wheel drive cars to front wheel drive cars is far more different than you might think,
Where you brake, how to get on gas is not a little different, I admit, I had a harder time wrapping my head around
front wheel drive stuff and with more practice I would have figured it out and been fine.
Another thing is 4cyl engines, with computer mapping and such is also quite different, made me a bit nuts.
But also the car is called a Nissan / Honda for a reason and really not a good one.
It is a Nissan tube frame chassis, built based on nissan 200 sx and orignal had a Nissan engine and suspension.
When the orignal guy blew up the turbo engine, he should have replaced, upgraded etc,
But he had a things for Honda, so he changed engine and front suspension to suit and H22A prelude engine,
they work great, but are limited, To fix this and do right would be insane money, and made my head hurt.
So being honest, I decided if I am going racing, I want to go V-8 ( maybe Mustang) rearwheel drive car, something I understand better
already know how to go around track with and work on and find parts for etc. So made the call to sell this and look for something else,
so the search began, came close on 2 or 3 and missed out on wicked vintage 1985 Mustang, that had been totally switched to track car.
So kept looking.
well yesterday, Sold Nissan and same day bought something else Stay tuned, is cool, different and should be a lot of fun.
