5-1 loss for Montreal . They were not in their element that is for sure. They need to tie up Kucherov, Point and Stamkos. Not an easy task. Need to come out to play next game. Some of the boys where still on the beach for that game.

Yes I completely agree. She’s not over!!
Couple of bad give aways, couple fluke goals and bad reffing
hard to surivie one of those, all three not good.
they need to adjust, clean up there game and they got a shot.
When not giving the puck away they played with them
but 17 shots and not alot of tough ones, is not beating Tampa.
game 2 will tell us alot, win or lose.

It’s Do or Die in Game 3 and 4
Habs beat themselves last night.
Refs were bad, but nothing new.
Montreal can't score, which will make for a short series.
Chariot making another rookie type mistake, took the wind out of
the sails, Hes done it a few times in the playoffs, otherwise an
incredible playoffs for him.
Price can't be blamed for goals, but a spectacular save is what were going to need.
Out played Tampa all night, makes it a very tough loss.
Hopefully the take care of business at the Bell centre.

Nothing short of a heartbreaking loss !!
They outplayed them all night but a few mistakes bit them in the butt, just sucks but still nice to see the Habs up where they are.
Never would have put my money on this happening earlier in the season.

Game two was a tough loss.
I will admit, I do not understand coaches love
for Gustavson, average at best and times a liability
Merrill is down right scary, for me I would go with Romanov
and Kulac, both can skate and Romanvo can hit.
Limit minutes still Better option IMO
Really need to solve Vasileski and game three is a must.

Habs are back to their old habits, turn overs, turn overs.... unable to exit their zone etc. etc.
Lightning is a well oiled machine and best team in the league IMO, will make you pay every time a mistake happens, no doubt !!
But still unbelievable that the Habs made it this far, hats off for their efforts !!
I think game two cut the grass right under their feet and it would have made for a different series if they could have pulled it off.

Well Apparently DD did agree with me, he doubled down on
Gustavan and Merrill, they play almost double their normal minutes.
Montreal played quite bad, far to many passengers,
first game they were outhit completely.
they did win the turnovers 26 to 13 over tampa bay.
Ugly and deserved, odds are not good, something major
has to change, just for a win.

Price has not been his usual self since the Weber shot to the collar bone area in the warm up of Game one. Looked like he felt that one. Aside from Tampa being loaded with Quebec players and staff who are eager to bring the cup home many times this summer, at least the HABS were the best Canadian team this year and getting to the final is an accomplishment. Completely unexpected but made for interesting chatter. Throw a few fresh bodies in for game 4 and give them some experience. Who knows.

It wasn't an easy game but a well deserved win. Changed up some players anf it seemed to help. Romanov put one in the net so that was nice to see. Brought back a bit more physicality on some of the key players and they got the all important first goal. I am glad to see them make it to this point and you never know what can happen.
