Old sleeper racing ploy.... if you put Chevy valve covers on a Ford engine, people look under the hood and think it's a really slow car.

Exactly! Because you can read Chevrolet and see the bowties on the heads.
Also the intake manifold is the same as what you see on the Corvettes and similar cars.
