Maritime mini runs.

Hi Al, we plan on doing some of it, maybe not go all the way to SJ and spend more time in the Fundy Trail Parkway area. It will be nice to see the cars going through there.
I was debating the run but as Dave says , it's very loose this year, no time line and no sticking together.. we might just stop into the Caves restaurant for a bite to eat, he closes for the year end of day Sunday, and spend some time on the Parkway to grab some picks and check out a few trails..

Last weekend we did the southern NB coastal cruise, then did some ferry hopping to deer island and Campobello..

I think that’s a white deer and not albino.
He’s got colour on his head and face.
That means he’s got pigmentation.
So white hair instead of brown or grey.
Like humans can be red, black or blond hair.
If he were true albino he would not have pigmentation, so no possibility of that colour on head.
No colour in eyes either.
Eyes would be red.

Nice shot though. Very rare.
Looks like nice drive down there.
I’ve never been.

Enjoy for rest of us Charlie.
I finally cleaned the 2015 of the dirt from fall run last night.
But have other stuff to do.
Clean, lube and put away Batwing mower to get ready for snowblower.
Clean 06 and put cover on it.
Besides, no one up here has taken their cars out this summer.
Lower population.
No events or destinations to hit.
Can only do Campbellton and back so many times.
My wife working this evening, so would be solo again.

Post some pics, will you?
Cheers!

Man that sucks Marc. Will try and get some fall shots. Need to leave soon though. Lol

We went up to Halifax and back today from Digby and stopped in a few potential fall photo contest locations. This one did not make the final cut but turned out fairly good even though the colors are just coming in. Located in Nictaux Falls outside Middleton NS. 500 kms well spent.

Was getting ready to put away the 06 yesterday since cancelled insurance on it Wednesday.
Had to start it up for a few minutes to let fuel stabilizer run through system.
So took both cars out of garage for extra mini run to driveway.
Covered maybe 60 feet with 06 and couple hundred meters with the 15

Figured I’d try and get some pics for photo contest with both cars involved.

Tried to get creative with first one.
Took pic of reflection of the 06 in trunk panel of the 15.
Not quite as good or discernible as I hoped, so it’s not in the contest.

Second pic is better idea of what will appear in contest with real fall theme given off by colour in maple tree.

I like the reflection idea. Turned out pretty cool. The chrome F150 grills in the newer models with the two wide bars come to mind as a good bounce point. All summer we have been trying to get a shot with our car as we pass an 18 wheeler and hoping to find one with those mirror like big center hubs to catch the shot as we go by. Elusive so far as most were dirty as crap when we went by if they had them.

Sad to be talking about putting them away so soon but in 6 months it will be all about them coming out again for the first wash. Given the circumstances I still enjoyed the summer and made the best of it.

I worked this morning, clened car after lunch and then got out for run,
all dirty again, no photos, so hopefully an excuse to get out again
before contest deadline.
Through old stomping grounds, East Uniacke, Rawdon, Shubenacadie, Lantz, Enfield and home,
some real nice roads, most being paved over last few years, Some great side trips into Mexico.
one super nice road, not a house to be seen :)
