Sorry for the late reply. I don't sell parts or do any installations. Most CAI for that car don't even require a custom tune as there's not much power to be had.
Pete

This has been discussed, Pete does tunes and sells tuners, hes not an auto shop,
he has little better phone manners, no internet manners, spend 10 minutes with him
person, you'll invite him over for dinner.
When hes done with your car, he will explain in detail what hes done and make sure
you get what you want, Thats Pete. Sometimes hurts your head, and I have even questioned
going there, because of said issues, but I have seen is work on my cars and many others,
including over the phone problem sovling after the fact, incredible.
Watched him put car on dyno, spend an hour going through it all, saying your car
is great the way it is and says no charge.

So that said, if you wish not to go, I understand. Wasn't my preference but
I could install it while others on dyno in parking lot, not a big job.
Also I believe you could install it and drive there with no issues
other than not perfect tune for car and changes.

I drove my 08 there after, ( pay attention) LOL
Gear change,
exhaust changes
added Super charger
different injectors
Cold air intake
bigger throttle body
and likely few other things,
and had no issues getting there,
in my case, stay under 3000 rpm
and stayed out of boost :)
Oh and all this was for 1 trip :)

I suspect if you add those, get a tune you will see 2 things
about 15 to 20 HP with far better response and driveablilty.
you will likely see 10-15 with out added items.

As I said your choice?
If anyone disagrees I understand that to :)

Also meant to mention, you can go online
buy a canned tune, load on to tuner, install on car
and will see improvements

IMO live dyno tune with someone who knows what they are
doing is worth the time and money.
Thank you

The throttle response that Trevor is talking about is noticeable and makes driving the car better on its own.
The extra power is a bonus to that.

I also subscribe to the notion that a custom tune is worth the investment.

15-20 hp more with the throttle response will be noticeable and will be enjoyable.

The first CAI for the 3 valve 4.6 didn’t produce much more but people still did those hand over fist and pretty much all unanimously enjoyed the results.
