Front End Friday

Made a new addition to the corral this week. Missed rowing a transmission.

2010! Nice!

There is so much available on the aftermarket to hot rod that car… 😁
I needed a winter project, and I missed not having a standard transmission. I have been looking at what is available on a number of the parts sites and have started ordering parts. Today was the first day I drove it on dry pavement, took a drive to the Confederation Bridge. One thing I noticed driving in the rain, a lot of wheel hop any time you came on to it at low speed. Will go back and review the recent thread of messages I read on here in relation to that. I have been picking away at detailing it inside and out. Will drive it until the salt hits the roads, then start working on clay barring it, restoring the paint, and a ceramic coating. A pic from the drive today.

Bill , The mustang is only a “no salt on the roads car”. Here in NS that’s late April to late November if the weather cooperates. I have room to store it and the truck at home but it had to be kicked outside of its winter storage for last weekend so I could catch up on work on the two daily’s , my VW TDI Jetta needed a heater core, winter tires installed and the CRV need it’s winters. It’s back inside for now.
