Cool cars

Thats a great picture Bill, very clean and sharp focus, and by design, or by sheer luck, the lettering orientation on the tires match front to back.

:D

I'm going to say it's not an AI generated picture, if you look at the reflection in the paint above the front turn signal, I'm pretty sure you can see the photographer kneeling down on the pavement to get the shot.

The "original" Super Snake, once owned by Carroll Shelby.
Side oiler 427 FE, with twin Paxton superchargers, reportedly producing 800 bhp. Interestingly enough it was equipped with an automatic transmission from Lincoln. To clear the engine, with its twin blowers and twin carburetor covers, a sinister hood scoop was devised. Inside the car there was a separate set of gauges which might have been meant to scare the passenger by seeing just how fast the driver was going.
Of note, CSX3015 wasn’t the only Twin Paxton Shelby built. While he still owned his car, after running into comedian Bill Cosby at a supermarket in Playa del Rey, California, near his condominium, Shelby chided Cosby for preferring Ferraris. Cosby reportedly retorted, “Well, you build a Cobra that will go 200 MPH and I’ll buy one.” So Shelby drove back to his factory at LAX airport and ordered another Super Snake built.
That car, CSX 3303, was only in Bill Cosby’s hands briefly. Reportedly, it scared him to death. He even recorded an album entitled “Bill Cosby at 200 MPH,” making light of the experience.

Bill Cosby's 200 MPH...

It did scare him and he returned it to Shelby not long after getting it.
Shelby then sold it to another customer who died in the car after he lost control of it and it went off a cliff into the Pacific.
There are some claims the throttle stuck.
The whereabouts of the car disappear after that.

This excerpt from Hagerty.

The engine of Shelby Cobra CSX 3303, a 427 cubic-inch V8 with twin Paxton superchargers, was destroyed when the car went over a cliff into the Pacific Ocean in 1969, killing its owner, Tony Maxey. The car was originally built for Bill Cosby, who returned it, and later met its end in this tragic accident, often described as a tragic loss of a legendary vehicle.
