Best of 2024

Congrats, nice score, love the S197, I tried to get a GT500 in 2006, but ADM was stupider than normal, so I ordered an '06 GT 'vert at MSRP instead.

I hope you get out there and drive the wheels off it, don't leave it sitting in a garage for 15+ years like the previous owner.

Although that was good for you.....not so much for him. lol
I will !! Already logged an additional 2,500 km since purchase. I log between +/-7,000 to 10,000 km per year on my Mustang, plus another +/-1,000 miles on my '68 Coupe, so they do not sit around too much, except for the Winter season. Carroll Shelby has always said that they are created to be driven, and that is usually what I do with them. Had my '04 'vert for 12 years and I put close to 100,000 km on that one before selling it back to my nephew whose father was the original and previous owner. Never know, we might meet up on a highway stop sometime-somewhere in the future !! (y);)

Snuggling the new granddaughter last night

2024 has been a pretty good one up our way.
First we managed to stay healthy, thats the important one.
But we also got to finally join the gang and do the Fall Run, was really awesome to see everyone again…… bonus !
On the home front ‘24 was a fun time as we got to follow our 3 yr old grandson on his motocross race circuit, very cool for grampy here.

Then this fall our son in law made a career change and partnered in a local business.
With this they purchased a building here in town and opened up a second store.
Both places offer sales of Ariens and Stihl products plus outdoor clothing such as Klim, Scott, Choco etc.
Of course lots of motocross stuff too.View attachment 81913View attachment 81914
They also sell used ATV’s , Snowmobiles, Harley’s etc along with all kinds of maintenance products.
Repair service also offered with 2 mechanics on board.
So an exciting year for us, now hoping ‘25 continues on the same course ?? Lol

Normally I do this in the Members only section,
but this year, here seems appropriate.

2024 for Maritimemustang.com was another great year.
We are growing and the forum is doing well, in an age where
many forums die. Thanks to all who post, read, like and encourage
folks to be apart of this site.

We had some facebook issues, thanks to Charlie and his tech abilities
we created a new facebook page to help promote the site and it has
grown very fast and is doing well also.

$$ we are in the black for the third year in a row, WOOHOO 😁
thanks to our sponsors and sales of swag we take to a few events.

I know I can't remember or thank everyone, but I will try to name a few.
Charlie & Jen, Gerry, Phil, Aaron, Jason, Kevin, of course my wife Aliona. :)
Thanks to all those who volunteer or help, whenever asked.
And most of all, thank to each and everyone who comes here and has helped make this
an amazing community to share our passion of these great cars.

I am looking forward to 2025 and year 9 of this forum. I hope it keeps growing
and everyone enjoys as much as I do.
