65 Again: 2017 Shelby GT350

Hey, I enjoy the heck out of it when I’m behind the wheel. I don’t baby it either.
But I find myself having more unabashed fun in my green car.
The rewards of building a car the way you like it, I suppose.

And then I have that issue of splitting my summer’s mileage between three cars.
It drives what it drives.
I don’t deprive myself.

It's a shame you don't enjoy that car more than you do Marc, I put 4000 km on mine this year and loved every minute of it.

I get where you're coming from though, I was the same way with my '06 GT.

Ironically, the guy I sold that car to 14 years ago could easily get all of his money back too.

Sold it with 25,000 km and its got 40,000 km now.
My 05 has 38,000k when I bought it in 2008, yesterday it was at 302,277

Well I finally did it.
Deleted the resonators on the car.
Used the redesigned MBRP X pipe to do it.

Valves closed, no discernible difference in the cabin.
Valves open, again, hardly any difference noticeable while cruising.

But, valves open on acceleration, wow what a wild, angry and glorious growl!
And what a crisp and ruckus “Brrraapp” on throttle blips for rev matching!

Overall a nice, refined end result.
I thought it would also add more crackles and pops on deceleration but it did not. In fact it might have taken a bit out.
I don’t mind.
The growl on acceleration and rev matching is well worth the price of admission.
