Bill, I would love to follow a 396 4 speed on the Fall Run, we had Phil in a BMW a few years ago and I would choose a 69 Nova with a 396 over BMW every time.

Hi Bill. Good to hear from you. I’ll go out on a limb and say as previous owner - just between Mustangs - You are welcome to join in even with an off brand — As long as you stay at the back of the pack and we tape on the Ford imposter badges !

One thing for sure, a 69 Nova probably won’t have the failure in the air suspension like a certain BMW did on a run, I spoke with the owner of that car last year (he told me he was Bills friend), when I picked up my registration package Thursday, it is a beautiful car with disc brakes all around and 396 was replaced with a 427 Stroker with 500 HP. So it shouldn’t have any trouble keeping up and corners, stops and steers cause all that has been upgraded and modernized.

Sounds like the only mod left is the Ford badges Trevor is bringing!

I suppose some of you lads might be itchy if I was to tag along with a '69 Nova SS, 396/4Spd ?? This is one of 4 oldie cars along with 4 Harleys my neighbor has.........
