2025 Motorsports Racing Season.

Race wasn't to bad, another tough place to pass, but some good battles.
Does get real interesting with 2 races left,
After Maclaren get DQ'ed for plank wear.

Hamilton and Lecerc drove a good race, but can see Ferrari is not even beating
some of its own customer engine cars. You can bet pressures on for next year.
 
Actually a fairly decent race, mind you a wet track would have made it a lot more interesting. :)
I loved to see Antonelli getting a well deserved podium finish. He started the race so far back in the grid (17th), getting a questionable 5 second penalty, and then incredibly having running so darn long on those hard tires. 48 laps in a 50 lap race.. :oops:

It's absurd to think that the potential for an F1 driver championship may have been thrown out the window. This same infringement has previously happened with other teams, and they were penalized, so it wasn't like it was some brand new regulation the team wasn't aware of.
McLaren argued "mitigating circumstances existed in that there was additional and unexpected porpoising at this event, limited opportunity to test due to the weather on Day 1, and shortened practice sessions." It was reported that "the FIA noted that it strongly held the view that the breach was unintentional and that there was not a deliberate attempt to circumvent the regulations".
I suppose these factors could have prevented Mclaren seeing unusual board wear, and be a legitimate excuse, but other teams were subject to the same conditions and they weren't DQ'd. You have to wonder if it was legit, or was McLaren rolling the dice?

Obivisouly they were to close to the edge,
but as said, others have been penalized for same thing.
2 this year I beleive and both Ferraries last year.
or was it Mercedes last year.
Sucks for them, but other than making F-1 title race closer, hasn't changed much.

Rain at this point would be better for all of us racing wise, except on street race
likely a dozen red flags.
