in other news Nascar are now in court over Anti trust case.
Could really shake up establishment depending on what happens.
Team 23xl and FRM leading the charge.

Also apparently viewership is way down this year, folks pissed about playoffs among other things.
Many think ole boys club refusing to change is hurting the sport.

This could change things alot depending on what happens.
 
Zilisch got robbed in the Xfinity series, dominant car all season with 10 or so wins, Love didn't deserve the title for finishing ahead of Zilisch in Phoenix.

Hamlin got robbed in the Cup Series, why he didn't take two tires with a handful of laps to go is beyond me.

Jeff Gordon got robbed back in 2003 I think it was, when the playoff format reset the years points and handed the championship to Kurt Busch.

( Yes, I'm still pissed off about that 20+ years later lol )

Hate to use the phrase " Back in the day", but back in the day, the dominant car for the season scored points for consistency.

Lead the most laps, win races, be consistent in your performance and you took home the trophy, not by the sanctioning body resetting the points gained over the year just to get TV ratings in a playoff segment.

I stopped watching every weekend around 2010 or so, and I'm satisfied to catch the youTube highlights these days.
 
I am not a fan either, playoffs for other ports make since,
but the way racing does it is insane.

Also I am not a fan for someone to race 500 laps
4 hours and some yahoo who is not fast enough to pass
hits him on purpose and wins,

Now I will admit I am not a fan of F1 and you get a pnealty because
you thought about hitting someone, but some of that is so bad,

We will see what happens, hopefully better.
