2025 Fall Run Grand Falls New Brunswick Edition Saturday September 20th

I drove the fall run route late this afternoon.
It’s all set to go.
Took me just under 4 hours, door to door, without stopping.
No need to worry about it being short. It’ll take the group all day to do it.
I drove along the Mexican border wherever I could.
Very nice roads and pavement for the most part.
I didn’t take any pics. Just drove.

For those who’ve never been to the north shore of NB, this is one of the stops at the far end. The beach in Charlo.

I took these at the beach parking lot about this time of year a couple years ago.

Here is the view north west towards Campbellton.
Mouth of the Eel river in the background before it dumps into the Baie des Chaleurs.

Here the car has not moved but the view is more north and slightly east.

Sorry to hear that Suzanne. Hopefully next year. Yes I’m pretty sure they are sold out.

Its that time of the year to start the post about the Fall Run. I know it's early, however it will give people time to make their plans. Gerry, Marc, Trevor, Jen and myself have been working on it for a couple of months already. There are still some route details to iron out which is normal. The final route will not be posted until we are closer to the date. i have confidence most of us will be on some nice roads we have never seen before.

Here is what we can share so far:

Run Date is Saturday September 20th.

Jen has blocked off a block of 29 Rooms at The Hilltop Hotel at 131 Madawaska RD, in Grandfalls for both Friday September 19th and Saturday September 20th. Marc gave his local input and said this was decent hotel in the area.

The details on the rooms are as follows.

Group reservation under the name of MARITIME MUSTANG FORUM for 25 rooms mixed for the following types. 1 double bed or 2 double beds and rooms with 1 queen bed Basic and 1 or 2 Queen beds with a private Balcony facing the river. rooms can be on the ground level or second floor.

The Group rate she got is $100 + tax for 1 bed or $120 + Tax for 2 beds of any type. These are great rates if you take a look at what they are asking for online.

To complete the reservation you will need to call 506-473-2684 before August 20th. First come first served.

Saturday departure will be from the Hilltop Hotel at 8:00AM. .Run details will be shared as we get closer to the date

Saturday Evening we will be having Supper at 6:00PM at the Restaurant that is attached to the Hotel as well. This will be nice as once we park the cars we shouldn't need to drive again unless we want to.
