Well the Habs got 2 Pre Season wins. I know its still early. It was nice to watch some of the younger talent showcased. Who will stay and who will go? Always some tough decisions. Should be an interesting season
Should be a fun road trip!! I love taking the train downtown for events like this. Takes the parking and traffic stress away.

Think that would make him the top paid goalie. Or close to it. Is he that good? He wants 8 years and the Bruins are not wanting to go that long. Be interesting to see what happens.
As for the Leafs, same old same old. No change. Add different little pieces and core stays the same….again. Last year they said everything is on the table, anyone can move. But it all stayed the same pretty much
. No trade clauses are killer. ESPN has them 8th to win the cup. Some have them 7th and that sounds about right. Can’t see them getting any closer to the finals this year.I’m looking forward to watching Bedard the most. He’s a crazy good talent and hopefully he will challenge the best in the NHL very soon. Chicago should be much better this year so we will see what he does.
I think Ottawa is gonna surprise. Finally a decent goalie, Sanderson on D will have a great year and they are decent up front. Depth might be a bit of an issue but they I will take them as my underdog pick this year (to make the playoffs).
Going to see Nashville and Carolina in a week or so. Last pre-season game for both I think. Hopefully they will both have the majority of their starting lineup going by then. Nashville arena seems like a fun place to watch a game so I will keep ya posted lol.

east is tough, already good teams, Ottawa should be better or shit will fly.
Buffalo has the talent but can never seem to put it all together, hmmm

outside playoff team, Goalies, look like two #2's I think I am the only one who does not like the Laine deal
but we will see. Lots of kids to watch and hopefully some take decent steps forwards.
Being in the east / Atlantic tough sled, when you consider where the top teams are
and 2-3 cup favs, should be fun to watch.

Toronoto wins 2-1 it was a bit of a wild one.
Berube want Players to play big, not sure they are capable of that
so it looks like it trnslates into dirty, Hit on Laine was Nasty.
Player does not get penalty, Xjaki goes after and fights, he gets 2-5 and 10 thrown out of game
plus today get $3300 fine, great league is showing what happens when player sticks up for thier guys
against a dirty move.

I heard That Laine is out for the season. Not sure how accurate that is yet. Man he has had a rough few years. To see this happen in a meaningless Pre Season game sucks.

Kid had knee surgery hes out 5-6 months,
hell of a way to start your NHL career.
Just read that, boy it looked a lot worse on TV I think hes lucky,
we will see, everyone heals different, look at prices kneee, never been right after first injury,
NHL is loaded with sad story of Knee injuries and ending careers,
I am surprised so little is done after that fact to stop this stuff.

Last night they interviewed a surgeon on the Quebec sport news who said he should be out for at least 6-8 months.
So nice twist in the prediction.

Yes the had a couple of Eorupena games last week, but no seems to becounting that,
even if they do count in the standings.
