I agree, but we had a few complaints, food this that the other thing.
This is the time and place to voice any concerns or ideas.
Not sure how much we can change or even want to, but always
good to get ideas and suggestions, never know what can be done to
improve something. That said I think we have had incredible runs
with great people and it always turns out great.

Totally agree. All we can do is plan to best of our ability with as much input from the locals as possible when it comes to restaurants and hotels. This way here we are sure to please the majority. As life has taught us all you will never please everyone. Lol
 
This is the time for people to say where they want to go and to say what they did not like about last run so maybe it can be reworked. If the island is selected . I would offer(if needed) to help Gerry & other island mm members to map out one hell of a trip on roads that most people have never seen. I did not see to many people on st. john run that did not have smile on there face.

I agree with all of the above.
But Us chief cook and bottle washers here
at Maritimemustang.com want to always try
and listen to all, in other words, do for the majority
I agree we will never please all and occasion we will even manage
to piss some people off LOL sometimes it is what it is.
Our theory has been simple, try and do what most want,
all are welcome, input is always welcome and we will do the
best we can after that, most are happy, some are very happy
and some not so much :)

The great thing, this place is free, free to come and enjoy,
better yet help out by posting and being involved.
Also it is free to leave for those we manage to make unhappy.
As always it is each persons choice.
We prefer you come, post, show up at events and enjoy
great cars and people.

Rainy days are great we can post more :)
 
I'm good with any area of the island, more back roads and Coastal views the better . A destination we can spend a bit of time in with some group photo opp areas, and of course the evening and lunch restaurants for us..
is it possible for a different start and finish to cover more with out back tracking, and giving us different hotels and restaurants on both nights ?
 
I like same hotel when possible, with loop type of affect on run.
so different roads, but as always I will take what we get lol.
I know how hard Gerry and Jason work

the way the 3 island areas are, a loop in any section back to the same motel I think is quite doable with maybe stop for supper on way back to motel. ( but then what the hell do I know) lol

As a life long resident of the Island, You know a hell of a lot more than I do when it comes to planning a route in your neck of the woods. :FordSmile
 
Ok a couple of comments.......... we seem to have the most fun and interaction when we stop for group shots, so my vote would go to adding extra stops for group photos in nice locations, wherever we can, even if it means we cover less distance. And the island has some stunning spots.

And I like the idea of stopping as a group for an early supper along the way back, that sounds great.
 
Another thought....... they give you a certificate if you visit the two lighthouses at the extreme tips of the island (have done it twice over the last 20 years). So we could do the eastern tip on the Saturday and then for anyone that wants to we could cruise to the western tip on the Sunday morning and get our certificates. Might be a fun idea.
 
This conversation has gone a little dormant, so were down to 2,3 or 4 run suggestions
for voting purposes.

My suggestion is Starting out of Charlottetown heading to and from Souris. with run and times to be determined by
Gerry our run planner.

If you have a run you would like to see put it forward, after we have a few I will be it up for voting.
