2018 Ford Mustang Pro Stock

Great job Trevor, any in car video?
No, I have go pro for car, its older one and to be honest was a pain before
I haven't had time to mess with it.
I do have some video I can up load later to you tube channel of some other race starts
etc. from yesterday and today.

To be honest would to do few good lap consistantly before I worry about video lol.

I find it odd there are only 2 weekends left this early in the summer. Is this the only track around like this?
there is 4 race weekends and then a weekend with 3 hour race
so five in total. Many years ago it was 7 race weekends.
How or why it became 5 I am not sure.
Likely costs and it works out there is none in August.

So one more in July, one in Sept
JCM 3 hour race in Octpber.

there are 5 races on these weekends,
Practice sat night and 5 races on a Sunday. normally.

Ahhh ok. Yeah Probably a cost thing like you said. More participation every weekend they have it as people are more likely to make a bigger effort to attend as well.
Stock car racers run every weekend, but big boys Pro stock tour do 10 races a year around the maritimes,
you don't wanna know what that costs if you want to play in top 10
Friday night racers are cheaper than what I do, but 3 nights a week working on car if you don't break or hit anything.
Very time consuming.

Road racing over all is harder on cars, technically on a Sunday we have 5 races
4 -- 30 mintues races and a one hour enduro, Almost impossible to do with one driver.
better be in far better shape than me and have at least 4-5 people helping during day.

If I ran all 4 weekends and JCM, providing I don't break anything serious or hit anything serious.
its still more than I care to think about, For me time is just as hard to come by.
Next year I will have some sponsors ( besides Me) to help pay for me to play :)

With the work I do, the Mustang stuff I do and want to do, I am more than busy
and at this point, I am having fun, as long as that heppens I will continue or
at least for a few years.

After the weekend, Leigh Pettipas drove the car Friday
he has 2 of these at the track, after a discussion with him last night,
then I took it to Mike, who has built and works on countless Pro stock cars
along with racing everywhere including AMP

I found out how much was not done right, fortunately most can be fix relatively easy
Mike it going fix up nose and fix a few braces, bit of welding.

Then its going to leigh to Address some of the other issues and play with set up a bit more.
Both think car has gone bones and The stuff I bought and had rebult is decent.
So hopefully in couple weeks i have back, Along with few things I would like to do,
with a bit of luck will be going to Next event a lot better shape than last week :)

Car is with Leigh at Sensory Motorsports.
Initial assment is not good, way more things wrong than right,
simple statement is hes surprized it did as many laps as it did without coming apart.

Far to big of a story to go into here, but some parts ordered and hopefully time for
leigh to sort out before next race. lots to fix and make right,

I am still positive about the project and happy none of this issues caused
more major damage.. its in the right place to be sorted, time is the challenge :)
