Agree 100%.
Track guys used to teach that when they were around, and all good driving schools did and still teach that at their HPD events.

Jim Russell racing school teaches that at Mont Tremblant during their 1 day High Performance Driving school.
A pre-requisite, or proof of similar quality learning, to access their Lapping days sprinkled through the summer driving season.

Once you attend similar driving schools/experiences, your seating/driving position changes forever.
And for the better, that is. ?

I agree, anyone who has been to a school or even watched any amount of in-car video
of drivers driving realize that stuff is not, cool or not, you want to succeed.
Even Nascar tends to sit a bit closer to wheel, its for a reason, bit more bend in arms
give less stress when racing 4 hours, f-1 almost lay in thier cars and are custom designed
for each driver. Seat back, leaning to right with one hand on top, would be a short race
in real life, unless of course the car has about 150HP, likely fine then lol.
