Been a tough couple of weeks for motorsports broadcast icons....
Bob Jenkins passed a while back and I just read that Robin Miller passed away yesterday.
I used to love watching Robin Miller banter back and forth with Dave Despain on Wind Tunnel on Speed back in the day.

Thought about throwing this in the Maritime Mini Run thread, but doesn't really fit, so "Thought Of the Day" it is.
Took a run to Guelph today to reload on Zaino, it's about a 300 km round trip, but a nice drive.
There's one pit stop I usually make for a coffee download at one of those unmanned fueling stations outside a small (really small) town that has this locomotive sitting there on a chunk of track.
I'm not sure of the back story, but it made for an interesting picture.
Maybe I'll hold this one back for the next contest, winter is coming.

Your shot is cool. Shows an evolution of speed for sure. Building on the "thought of the day" I am always looking for places where I can place new technology next to old technology and grab a shot. On one run to an old saw mill I frequent for pics, there is a piece of engineering outside the building which I grabbed a shot by this summer. No idea what it was used for in the mill. As long you don't plan to turn or have 5 miles to stop your right,
but I think you might be shocked. Hellcat is big power, but with it big weight
and so so tires, which means not as quick off the line as one would think.
I seen terminators go, actually chased them, might shock you.
Depending on the driver I would put money on the cobra.

Intake: 190,000 reservations and a host of supply-chain issues later, Ford has finally told wanna-be Bronco owners to shut their computers and go straight to their dealer. Online reservations for the reborn off-roader are officially closed—and, according to the bronco6g forum, have been so since last Tuesday. According to Steve Gabbara, general manager of Szott Ford in Holly, who spoke to the Detroit Free Press, the underlying motive here isn’t to plug the dealer network. Ford desperately needs to buy itself time. Not only does it need to replace the roof of every hardtop Bronco delivered, it also has to approve the hardshell replacements built by problematic supplier Webasto and allow the Michigan Assembly Plant time to hack away at a stack of 125,000 orders. Coupled with Ford’s promise to provide a 2022 MY vehicle to anyone who hasn’t yet received a build date for their Bronco, that hefty production schedule will extend Bronco deliveries through the 2022 calendar year, according to Ford’s owner resources website. For context, Ford forecasts that 2022 MY vehicles will roll off the assembly line beginning in late December of this year.

I don’t know about the lining up part so much.
Not a huge fan of straight line racing as much as the total package of go, turn and stop.
Trevor mentions turning and stopping.
That Terminator was an early beneficiary of IRS and much lighter weight.
Sure underpowered, but I think would be a surprise too.
Make it fair.
Have same driver try them back to back.
Then you eliminate driver variance.
