My Dad was a Security Guard at one of the Office Buildings in Downtown Montreal. The Night Shift Janitor had been caught drinking on the job on more than one occasion.
He came into work on a Friday at 5 PM and was told to finish his shift and not return as he was Fired.
Everyone went home for the weekend and when employees showed up for work on Monday morning they immediately smelled something auful.
Back in the 60’s in front of every Elevator an Ashtray mounted on a base could be found.
Upon further Inspection
It was discovered that the Fired Janitor, removed the Ashtray from it’s Stand and took a Dump in it, placing the ashtray back on top in his way out Friday after midnight.
