well based on most cops girth, I say run the lines under a very low Mustang, tell him its unhooked
he is more than welcome to take a look under car, should be safe me thinks.

As you know, the legal and on-track drag racing scene is pretty healthy in Ontario.
I think St-Thomas raceway is near where you live.
The legislation reads like they are willing to let enthusiasts travel to a track with the nitrous hardware absent prejudice or penalty provided it’s not hooked up.

It reads like they are not targeting legitimate racers, which is a good thing.

There's another off ramp discussion about how mods like nitrous will void your insurance coverage if you crash your ride while racing it.

But as long as it's not hooked up on the street, and racing on a track.....you are correct, 100% legit...long as you keep it between the lines.

Mods would not even need to be present.
If you happen to have a mishap on a track (closed course) with your car, all insurance companies will deny a claim.
They will say you were racing and racing is one of their exceptions in the fine print.
If you were actually racing, it’s just that much easier for them.
It becomes up to you to sue and prove differently.
There’s a growing niche availability of day by day collision coverage from a few insurance providers for high performance driving events for road courses.
Like the name suggests, they are driving development events or driving schools.
There is no racing going on.

It’s a bit similar to Hagerty, although Hagerty is not one of those providers.
You pay the premium based on the amount of coverage you wish to have, mods included if you wish. If you have receipts and documentation it helps.
The deductible is usually $5000.00 but the rest of the amount is covered.
So you’re not looking at a total loss.

techinically if your on track type of event matters for Insurance
If it a school or a none timed event, then you are covered.
If timed you are not covered.

There is insurance for track days that can be bought if you do not wish to trust this.
depending what your doing and where it is Approx. $400 to $800 a day.
