Visited this man cave garage today in Halifax.What a collection 😍 he is also selling some of his collection and he takes on trades aswel. That's where I got the ones I just posted. Not one empty spot in the garage 😅 it was amazing to see in person.

In other diecast news... I'm not shilling for PD, but I do have a look at their site over coffee on the weekends.

New release coming in late May you F-1 fans might be interested in.....mainline five pack of F-1 cars.

It's pricey for a five pack of mainlines, but as with anything, depends on how bad you want it, sometimes it's worth a couple of bucks to lock in a pre-order and save yourself a lot of time and grief trying to hunt them down in the wild. PD is awesome in that if you supplement your order with additional cars, ( !!!! ) you end up paying lower shipping costs per unit.

Yes, that's typically how I buy my Boulevards and Vintage Ad Car series anymore, can't be bothered trying to take the time to find a full set in stores when I can buy them online for a couple of extra bucks and not have to screw around. Random releases sure, I'll have a look if I'm in the store , but for Boulevards and Vintage Ad Cars, it's pre-order and online all the way.

I suspect the peg skags will be all over these when they're released in stores for MSRP, so luck will have to be on your side to be in the right place at the right time.

That '66 Gasser has yet to show up locally , but much like the red M2 '66 GT350 last fall ...it will show up eventually.

In the mean time, I had another PD order show up. :LOL:

Always liked the '77 era Trans Am's, and the Formula was a more subtle version with the same performance numbers.

Ertl Collectibles used to do a series called American Muscle back in the day, I've got a Bandit Trans Am and a Formula from that series.

Really well done 1/18th scale diecast, and if memory serves, you could get them in Walmart for less than $50.

These releases are from 2003. Typically I don't bother too much with 1/18 scale, but in this case I'll make an exception.

Fast forward over 20 years later and I noticed Autoworld has taken over the American Muscle brand, and has issued a white '78 Formula and a blue '77 Formula, so I was curious enough to see if they measure up.

No surprise, they do...Autoworld does a nice job on their 1/64 and the 1/18 are comparable to what Ertl did in the early 2000's.

Also noticed the British Columbia licence plate.
